More Gambling Opportunities Are Getting Nearer

Casino gambling is now one step closer for area residents… The Pennsylvania Supreme Court has affirmed the decision to award a casino license for the Nittany Mall project. The court upheld the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board’s 2020 decision to grant the license to Ira Lubert, dismissing challenges from rival bidder Stadium Casino. The $130 million casino, planned for the former Macy’s location in College Township, will include 750 slot machines, 30 table games, and a sports-themed restaurant. Construction timelines remain uncertain, but the project is now clear to proceed unless further appeals are made.
