A McClure man is facing over three dozen charges after leading police on a high-speed chase through Derry Township. 39 year old Charles Hampton Jr. reached speeds of 120 mph on his motorcycle, ignoring traffic signals and driving on the wrong side of the road. The pursuit ended when Hampton crashed into a yard and fled on foot before being tasered by officers. Hampton was found with marijuana in his possession. He is now being held behind bars at the Mifflin County Correctional Facility on $50,000 bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for September 11.
