A man from Belleville is facing multiple theft charges after allegedly breaking into several vehicles in the area. 20-year-old John Michaud was arrested after police tracked him down using an AirTag from a stolen wallet. Michaud is accused of stealing items like wallets, gift cards, and shoes from cars on multiple occasions between September 2023 and August of this year. He was taken into custody after violating parole and is now being held on $25,000 bail at the Mifflin County Correctional Facility. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for September 11.
