A popular Mexican franchise is set to open a new location in Mifflin County. The doors of the new Chipotle restaurant will soon swing open at 1044 U.S. 522 South in Lewistown. That’s where the restaurant will occupy a 3,000-square-foot space on a 1.5-acre parcel, joining the ranks of other stores like Lowes, Dunkin’, and AutoZone that are already established along US 522 South. The new Chipotle will feature a drive-thru pickup lane, allowing folks to snag their digital orders without even stepping out of their cars. The exact opening date remains up in the air.
