Mifflin County Getting Grant Money for Election Activities

Mifflin County is set to enhance its election process with a new grant of $133,672.78 approved by county commissioners. The Election Integrity Grant will fund various election-related activities, including ballot programming, voter registration maintenance, and the issuance of identification cards. Paula Hoffman, Director of Elections, emphasized that the grant will support the ongoing accuracy of voter rolls by funding Address Verification Notices and processing death reports. This is a recurring grant, received for at least three years, and it aims to ensure election integrity and improve overall election administration in the county.
