Pennsylvania Attorney General Michelle Henry has announced the launch of an online portal to simplify the reporting of data breaches impacting state residents. Starting September 26th, companies experiencing breaches affecting more than 500 Pennsylvanians must use the new system to report incidents, in compliance with the updated Breach of Personal Information Notification Act. The portal aims to enhance efficiency and transparency, providing businesses with a streamlined process and essential information. Affected individuals will receive credit monitoring and access to their credit reports if personal data is compromised.
