Students Helping Out in Lewistown

The African American Memorial Cemetery in Lewistown, is seeing significant progress thanks to a collaborative restoration effort. Students from The Mifflin County Academy of Science and Technology’s welding and fabrication departments crafted a new archway for the cemetery, with installation supported by Crider-Mitchell Construction and concrete donations from Juniata Concrete. The ongoing restoration aims to honor and maintain the cemetery as a meaningful place of reflection for future generations.
