A traffic stop on US Highway 322 in Derry Township last Saturday, led to the arrest of three people who police say were involved in drug distribution. Acting on a tip about drug activity at the Crown Motel, Regional Officers and the Mifflin County Drug Task Force conducted surveillance and stopped a 2008 Chevrolet Equinox. Inside the vehicle were Steven Ferricks, Correy Gillam, and Brittany Reik. The officers also discovered methamphetamine, marijuana, cash, and drug paraphernalia in the vehicle. All three were arrested and charged with multiple drug-related offenses. Ferricks, who also had an outstanding warrant, faces additional charges for failure to appear.
