The Mifflin County Historical Society will host its annual fall banquet on Thursday, September 12, at the Penn Valley Christian Retreat in McVeytown. The event will feature guest speaker Jonathan Smith from the Broad Top Railroad and a family-style roast turkey dinner. Seating is limited to 100, with doors opening at 5:45 p.m. Tickets are $25 for members and $30 for non-members. Reservations must be made by next Tuesday, September 3.
