The Borough of Lewistown will be conducting smoke testing of the sanitary sewer system beginning today and running through Wednesday. The testing will cover West 4th, West 5th, and West 6th Streets, along with the surrounding areas from South Wayne Street west to Howard Avenue. During the testing, you might see smoke coming from vents or storm drains—this is normal and part of the testing process.
