The Juniata County School District Board of Directors has greenlit a major renovation project at Tuscarora Junior High School. New flooring will be installed in various areas, including classrooms, bathrooms, and hallways, all adding up to a cost of $128,110. Additionally, the board approved an asbestos abatement bid which will cost $55,387. The work will commence at the end of the current school year. In another business item covered at the recent meeting, adult lunch prices have risen to $4.25, retroactive effective March 1st following a state audit recommendation.
