Local Man Taken Into Custody Following 22-mile Chase

A local man found himself in a bit of a pickle after leading state troopers on a wild 22-mile chase through Mifflin and Huntingdon Counties. 36 year old David Mallery of McVeytown according to police, attempted to evade officers while under the influence of drugs. The pursuit began when Mifflin County Regional Police attempted to pull over what they learned was a stolen vehicle… driven by Mallery… but Mallery had other plans. After a crash and a brief foot chase, he was apprehended and now faces a slew of felony charges, including fleeing police and receiving stolen property.
