New Office Holders Take Oaths in Juniata County

Newly elected officials took part in a swearing in ceremony Thursday at the Juniata County Courthouse. First to take the oath was Magisterial District Judge Joshua Imes. Beginning next Thursday, January 4, Imes will take over for Magisterial District Judge Jacqueline Leister who has served for the past 36 years. County Commissioners Alice Gray, Todd Graybill and Mark Partner then took their oath together. Lee Snyder then took his oath as county coroner, and that was followed by oaths taken by county auditors, the prothonotary, and district attorney.
