Mount Union firefighters were called out early Wednesday morning to battle a blaze in McVeytown. The first call came in around 2am for the fire at a home on Lombard Street home. Crews arrived to find flames on the first floor. It took about two hours to get the fire extinguished. No word of any injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
