In Huntingdon County, a man faces charges after he was found by police with a substantial amount of drugs while driving under the influence. 24 year old Lucas Mays was discovered by state troopers near Ponderosa Road and Gorsuch Road in Henderson Township after reports of him passing out while driving. During the investigation, officers found Mays exhibiting signs of opioid use. Upon further investigation, they discovered a cache of drugs in his vehicle, including 97 bags of heroin and other substances. Mays is free on bail for now. He faces multiple charges, and he has a preliminary hearing scheduled for May 1.
