Local Supervisor Running for Mifflin County Commissioner

A local Township Supervisor has announced his intention to run for a seat as a Mifflin County Commissioner. Derry Township Supervisor Donald R. Warntz II, has announced that he will seek the Republican party nomination for the 2023 race for Mifflin County Commissioner. Warntz has been a Derry Township supervisor since 2005, and during that time he has served on numerous committees. He says he always wanted to be involved in government as a supervisor, and now that he has the experience running the township, he says he feels he is ready to run the county. Warntz says if elected, he hopes to cut the budget and lower local taxes, along with bringing new industry to Mifflin County.
