A local dairy farm in Juniata County will have a big role to play at the Pennsylvania Farm Show this year. Zugstead Farm in Mifflintown will be one of the four dairy farms that will participate in the Calving Corner at the Farm Show. The farm is sending workers and cows to calve on site so visitors to the farm show can witness the dairy birthing process. By the way, milk from Zugstead Farm is found in fresh Land O’Lakes dairy products, and Pennsylvania is home to more than 5,200 dairy farm families, nearly 40 dairy processing companies, and many small-scale dairy creameries and artisan cheese makers. The 2023 Pennsylvania Farm Show begins this Saturday at the Farm Show Complex and Expo Center in Harrisburg.
