The Mifflin County School District is celebrating as Miss Ashlie J. Crosson has been named the 2025 National Teacher of the Year. A recognized educator for her excellence in teaching, Miss Crosson was selected from 57 top teachers nationwide after being named Pennsylvania’s Teacher of the Year in 2024. Beginning this summer, she will serve as a national ambassador for education, advocating for teaching excellence and sharing her insights across the country. Miss Crosson, who has taught at Mifflin County High School since 2020, is an alumna of Lewistown Area High School.
