Huntingdon Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Arrests

Two people were arrested in Huntingdon over the weekend following a traffic stop that led to the discovery of nearly $3,000 worth of drugs. Police pulled over a white Mitsubishi on Mifflin Street early Sunday morning, with 27-year-old Brinelle Stanley of Harrisburg behind the wheel and 23-year-old Desiree Sorensen of Huntingdon in the passenger seat. The search uncovered 113.8 grams of methamphetamine, 42.9 grams of marijuana, 14 Oxycodone pills, and brass knuckles. Both now face felony charges. Stanley was released on bail, while Sorensen remains in custody.
