Cramer Leads Republican Race for Mifflin County Sheriff

Douglas S. Cramer took the lead over Martin Bubb in Tuesday’s Republican primary for Mifflin County sheriff. Out of 5,042 ballots cast, Cramer received 2,610 votes, while Bubb earned 2,430. No Democrat filed for sheriff, though there were 369 write-in votes. In the Magisterial District Judge race, Republican Eric S. Ettinger led with 1,272 votes, ahead of John J. Miles, who received 522. Both candidates cross-filed, with Ettinger also leading on the Democratic ballot. Total votes cast across races topped 6,600.
