The Mifflintown mother of a 4-year-old child who was hit by a car last week is now facing charges. 26 year old Mackenzie Trutt was arraigned on charges including child endangerment after the incident in which two people reported to State Police at Lewistown that at around 7:30pm on July 12th, they accidentally hit a child with their vehicle on North Main Street. They told troopers that Trutt picked the child up off the ground and carried the child into her home. They say they offered to call 911 but Trutt declined, and she did not seek medical attention. Trutt is now in custody, with bail set at $25,000.
