There will be no increase in taxes for residents of the Mifflin County School District for the 2022-23 fiscal year. On Thursday, School Directors approved a $94.54 million general fund budget…. unanimously…. with a real estate tax of 34.5215 mills for fiscal year 2022-23 on each $1,000 of the assessed home value. The board also approved a $5 resident tax for residents over 18 years, a $10 flat rate service tax, a 1 percent real estate transfer tax and a 1.35% earned income tax, and the 2022 Homestead/Farmstead exclusion resolution was also approved.
