Geisinger Lewistown Hospital has received a “straight A” rating from the Leapfrog Group for the fifth consecutive grading cycle, placing it among the top 12% of hospitals nationwide. The independent nonprofit assessed hospitals on their ability to prevent medical errors, accidents, infections, and injuries. Only 347 hospitals across the country earned this distinction in the Spring 2025 report.
