From carnival games to benefit rides and live music, this coming weekend is loaded with local events. A spring carnival kicks off Friday at West Snyder Elementary in Beaver Springs, while Saturday brings a community day for families with special needs at Walker Park in Mifflintown. Motorcycle riders will hit the road in Burnham for the Remembering Isaiah Ride, and a softball tournament in Mifflintown will raise money in honor of a fallen state trooper. Theater, food fundraisers and rodeo action are also planned across the region.
