Thirty six seniors at the Mifflin County Academy of Science and Technology signed on with local employers during Wednesday’s career signing day at the Lewistown Armory. The event, hosted by the Juniata River Valley Chamber of Commerce, helps graduates transition directly into the workforce. Students accepted jobs with businesses including First Quality, Geisinger, Sunderland Electric, and the U.S. military.
