Firefighters from multiple local departments quickly controlled a house fire on William Penn Highway in Mifflintown Tuesday morning. The fire started in a second-floor bedroom. It took crews 22 minutes to bring the blaze under control. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshal’s Office.
