Several business owners in Potter Township are raising concerns about the recently announced State College Connector Project. PennDOT’s preferred route, set to block access to storefronts south of Route 322, threatens to cut off customer traffic. Owners of businesses in that area are worried that without an access point, their businesses could fail. The new route, connecting Route 322 to the Mount Nittany Expressway, will bypass commercial areas, and the affected business owners are asking elected officials to push for additional exits near their businesses. A public meeting is scheduled for today to address their concerns.
