The Brown Township Board of Supervisors adopted two new proclamations on Monday evening, aligning with Mifflin County’s initiatives. May 2025 has been declared Motorcycle Safety and Awareness Month, urging drivers to stay alert for motorcycles at intersections and during lane changes. The board also approved the 2025 EMS Week Proclamation, recognizing the vital contributions of emergency medical services. EMS Week will be observed from May 18 to 24. In other business, the board tabled discussions on playground supervisors and a memorial tree or bench for Joe Shiminsky until all members are present. The next meeting is May 19.
