Derry Township officials met Monday to discuss updates on the ongoing improvements at Kish Park. It was learned that the playground and restroom areas are set for completion by the end of this month. New features include a Youth Lot for older kids and a Tot Lot for younger children, along with ADA-compliant parking and seating areas for caretakers. But there was also a reminder… the playground equipment is off-limits until safety inspections are completed. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be announced soon.
