In Mifflintown, the Friends of the Juniata County Library are giving away free books—no strings attached. The one-day event runs Monday, May 19, from 9 to 5 at the library’s Virginia Swartz Community Room. Thousands of adult and young adult fiction and nonfiction titles will be up for grabs, along with magazines, audiobooks, DVDs, and even a 40-year-old boxed set of National Geographic. No limit on how much you can take—just bring your own bags and load up.
