Service Dog Denial Costs Centre County Business

A Vietnam War veteran from Centre County has been awarded $25,000 after a now-closed Nittany Mall business, K n B’s Inflatables, denied him entry witah his service dog in February 2022. Christopher C. Taylor, who has PTSD, was turned away despite offering proof that his dog, Zeke, was a service animal. U.S. District Judge Julia Munley ruled the business violated disability laws and humiliated Taylor in front of onlookers. The business failed to respond to the lawsuit for over two years, which led to the financial penalty.
