The Juniata County Commissioners met Tuesday, and during their meeting they recognized National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week by honoring 911 Services Director Adam Waite and Telecommunicator Nikki Pannebaker. The county acknowledged the hard work and dedication of local telecommunicators, who provide critical services 24/7. As part of the celebration, each employee received gifts, including gift cards donated by local businesses. The commissioners also covered other business yesterday, including the approval of several proposals, such as renovations to the Third Street Annex Building.
