The Mifflin County Commissioners held their regular meeting on Thursday, and among the items they covered were three key proclamations. April 6-12 was declared National Library Week in honor of the Mifflin County Library’s reopening after remodeling. The Commissioners also recognized April as both Child Abuse Prevention Month and Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Local organizations are hosting various activities to raise awareness, including a social media competition hosted by the Abuse Network.
