A fire tanker overturned in Lewistown last weekend after colliding with a passenger car while responding to a call. The tanker struck the car, rolled over, and hit a house and utility pole, cutting power to the area. One firefighter freed themselves, while the other had to be rescued. Following an investigation, police have now cited the driver for careless driving and failure to slow down at the intersection. Fortunately, no serious injuries were reported, but the crash… that happened a week ago yesterday… remains under investigation.
