PennDOT will begin replacing two bridges along Route 22 in Wayne Township, Mifflin County, on Friday. The project, located about two miles northeast of Mount Union, will improve the bridges’ condition from poor to good. Drivers should expect daytime lane closures and possible delays as flaggers manage traffic. Temporary roadways will be built to keep traffic moving, with long-term signals planned later. The $2.5 million project is set to wrap up in August.
