Firefighters in Juniata County spent hours battling a house fire early Monday morning. Crews from Mifflintown Hose Company 1 responded to the scene on Half Moon Road in Spruce Hill Township just after 7 a.m. to find the single-story home fully engulfed. Firefighters worked for about three hours to bring the flames under control. No injuries were reported, and the cause remains under investigation.
