Police in Pennsylvania have identified Florin Doroiman of Wilkes Barre as the suspect behind a credit card skimming operation at a number of Pennsylvania Walmart stores. The devices were discovered on cash register pin pads last December, and they are believed to have secretly captured over 4,600 credit card numbers and more than 1,000 SNAP benefit account numbers… mainly at Walmart stores here in Pennsylvania… including perhaps some locally. Shoppers are being urged to stay vigilant and monitor their bank statements regularly. Police say such skimming devices can be hard to spot but are a growing concern at businesses nationwide.
