The Juniata County School District will soon be searching for two new school board directors. Martha Jane Shirk, representing Region No. 6, will resign on June 30th due to health reasons. Troy Woodward, representing Region No. 9, announced he will not seek re-election this fall, citing time constraints. Both directors made their announcements during the school board’s workshop meeting on Wednesday. The board’s next meeting is scheduled for March 20.
