Mifflin County Awarded Federal Grant

Mifflin County has been allotted $13,546 in federal funds through the Emergency Food and Shelter National Board Program to support local food and shelter services. Nonprofits and government agencies can apply if they meet eligibility requirements, including financial accountability and a proven track record of service. Priority will be given to food and shelter programs. Applications are available online or through the Mifflin Juniata Human Services Department. The deadline to apply is March 31 at noon, with funding decisions expected by April 15.
