Police in Lewistown are investigating a shooting on Valley Street after a man was found wounded outside a home Tuesday night. The man first claimed he accidentally shot himself outside, but investigators later determined the gun went off during a domestic dispute inside. A search warrant uncovered the hidden firearm… and also some drug paraphernalia. The injured man, who is legally barred from owning guns, remains in critical condition. His name has not yet been officially released. Police say charges may be pending as the investigation continues.
