Bridge Project Begins Monday

PennDOT will begin a bridge replacement project in Mifflin County, on Monday. The bridge, located southwest of Wagner, spans Jack’s Creek and will be totally replaced. To start, the contractor will close the southbound shoulder while building a temporary bridge, though the southbound lane will remain open. The project, coming in at $2.9 million, aims for completion in mid-November, weather permitting. Drivers are urged to stay alert as construction progresses.
