Juniata County is set to receive $1.1 million in multimodal transportation grants for three key infrastructure projects. Susquehanna Township will get $350,000 to repair Old Trail Road, a critical route for vehicles, Amish buggies, and local businesses. Fayette Township will receive $800,000 for a new connector road, improving traffic flow and safety. The projects are aimed at enhancing road conditions, modernizing transportation, and supporting economic growth while saving taxpayer money. The grants come from the Commonwealth Financing Authority’s Multimodal Transportation Fund.
