It was a wild night out for one State College man, who is now facing multiple charges after police say he attacked emergency responders during a hospital transport. Officers removed 21-year-old Joseph Draper from a bar due to intoxication. They say while in an ambulance, Draper became aggressive, slipping out of restraints, kicking, and spitting on EMTs. The ambulance stopped, where he then spit in a female EMT’s face and struck her. Once at the hospital, he continued yelling at staff. Draper now faces charges including aggravated assault. He’s now behind bar in the Centre County Prison, with bail set at $15,000.
