Mifflin Multi-sports Facility Facing Construction Delays

Construction delays at Mifflin County’s new $18.5 million Husky Multi-Sports Facility are forcing spring sports teams to adjust. Baseball, softball, track, and lacrosse teams must find alternative practice and game locations. While indoor practices are likely, track meets will be moved off-site. School officials hope to have the fields ready by April, but warmer weather is needed to speed up construction. In the meantime, lacrosse teams will practice at the middle school, and soccer teams will use local fields.
