The Juniata County School District and the Juniata County Education Association have reached a five-year collective bargaining agreement that takes effect this July 1st and runs through June 30, 2030. The agreement, approved by the school board this week, aims to provide long-term stability for the district, easing planning and addressing challenges like staffing shortages. In addition to the teachers’ contract, the board also approved other miscellaneous agreements affecting students.
