Community members in Juniata County are rallying behind a bus driver whose contract was terminated after a controversial sign she posted sparked backlash. The sign, which read “Out of respect for English only students, there will be NO speaking Spanish on this bus!” was meant to address unruly students, according to the driver. A petition to reinstate her has gathered over 400 signatures, with supporters pointing to the fact that she has served the community for more than 35 years.
