John Miles, a 21-year veteran with the Mifflin County Regional Police Department, has announced his candidacy for Magisterial District Judge. Miles, a Lewistown resident, has extensive experience in emergency services and law enforcement, along with certification from the Minor Judiciary Education Board. In his bid for the seat, he says he aims to provide fair and equal consideration to the community. The seat was vacated after Jonathan Reed’s successful campaign for a seat on the Mifflin County Court of Common Pleas.
