Like many other efforts right now, including just putting food on the table and keeping the lights on for many people, fundraising for the United Way of Mifflin-Juniata’s 2025 Annual Campaign is running behind schedule this year. The campaign has raised just 38% of its $450,000 goal. According to some with the local organization, while funds raised are lower than last year, there is still optimism as they look forward to upcoming events, including ‘A Night at the Races’ on January 25th and the Walk for Warmth on February 8th. The United Way supports 16 local agencies, and if you can spare a few dollars, they can put that money to good use. To donate, visit www.mjhunitedway.org.
