After a two-year absence due to avian influenza concerns, poultry competitions are making a partial return to the 2025 Pennsylvania Farm Show. Scheduled for January 4th through the 11th in Harrisburg, the event will feature market poultry judging, ornamental egg displays, and a youth turkey showmanship competition. Visitors can also look forward to the duck pond exhibit, offering underwater views of swimming ducks. Some poultry categories, however, will remain photo-only as a precaution to protect Pennsylvania’s $7.1 billion poultry industry.
