Former Penn State Players Facing Rape Charges

Two former Penn State football players, Kaveion Keys and Jameial Lyons, are headed to trial on rape charges following a Centre County court hearing Wednesday. An 18-year-old woman testified that she was assaulted by both men last July at their on-campus apartment. The victim, who was 17 at the time, testified that she tried to fight back but was overpowered. Both men were removed from the football team in August. Keys’ charges were bound over for trial, while Lyons waived his preliminary hearing.
